This session is intended for practitioners who find that they are increasingly called on to deal with issues that involve immigration status, but who don’t feel completely comfortable in their knowledge of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. This session provides a foundation for lawyers to understand the rights and conditions affecting temporary residents, permanent residents and Canadian citizens in relation to entering in Canada, working or studying in Canada, claiming refugee protection, remaining in Canada permanently and avoiding removal.
Join Chris Veeman of Veeman Law, Saskatoon, for this informative webinar. For more than ten years, Chris has helped people reunite their families in Canada, assisted employers with employing the international skilled labour that they need, and supported persecuted individuals in finding a safe haven in Canada.
